We have been at AFL for 6 months now, and I cannot recommend this facility enough. This was our very first ABA experience, and to be honest, the first two weeks or so were rough to say the least. The behaviors were wild and we were honestly shocked. The team at AFL was incredible during that transition. They met with us anytime we needed to, walked us through what we were experiencing, reassured us, and prepared us for what was likely coming. That level of communication and support made all the difference. They sent us pictures and updates throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind. Everyone we have encountered there is so kind, patient, and genuinely caring. My son loves going to “school” and absolutely adores his RBTs. In just 6 months, we have seen so much progress. Our daily life is so different in the best way possible and we are so grateful. One of the things I appreciate most is how receptive they are. They want to know what will help each child most and are willing to focus on what matters to families. They listen to my son’s SLP and OT from another facility and do everything they can to keep things consistent and work on the same things with him. We are so grateful for AFL and everything they have done for our little guy. I highly recommend them to any family considering ABA services.

Adapt for Life enabled my son to continue his schooling, in the public forum, which has been invaluable to us. We knew our son was different, but so caring and sweet, and we didn't know how to explain to the school how to engage with him on an operant level. With the help of Adapt for Life, he was able to incorporate certain behavioral tools to help cope with stimulant driven situations, and how to navigate his impulsive reactions in lieu of personally stressful emotional hardships. The skills of which will better serve him for the rest of his life. The staff was overbearingly kind and attentive, keeping all information free and open, and communication incessant and repetitive. We can't thank them enough for their tireless work and caring attitude, which has led to particular adjustments that allowed my son to succeed, and to be incorporated and accepted with his peers. We couldn't be happier with the incredible turnaround and recommend their services to any that may have considerations.

My son graduated from here in Aug of 2024. Adapt for life help him in so many ways, we went from angry, aggressive child that could not communicate and did not know how to cope with the world around him to a child that is so sweet and is able to tell us what he wants and needs and has learned coping skills to cope with the world around him. Sounds, smells, certain textures and tastes can all be over stimulating for him and they helped him learn to cope better with these. He is still learning but he’s not aggressive and has made friends. They even help the parents along the way learn how to best help their child. They really care about the whole family. They will even work with the child’s school if they need to. I don’t know what I would have done without them.

Having a child with Autism comes with it's own challenges and there is not how to guide. Once you receive a diagnosis you are given a packet and told here find your child services. We were put on waitlist for many other facilities but within a week of putting our application in at Adapt for life I received a call from Nancy the program director about setting up a meet and greet with staff, a walk through and further evaluation for my child. From the day we walked in the first day my son has excelled and the staff had been amazing and help guide is through the process and offered advice on times of need and additional resources. My son had made progression 6 months that at times I never thought we would reach. Having your child be able to sit at a dinner table for 2 hours with family without a tablet or a meltdown and be able to verbalize what he wants for dinner through pictures is a milestone for this momma. Our son has not only made progress in the community and being able to better tolerate his community but he has made strides academically and we are on track to start kindergarten in the fall. I cannot brag on the staff enough, Nicole our BCBA is even attending our sons evaluation and IEP meeting soon. If you are new autism parent and feel overwhelmed without any sense of direction Adpat for Life is the place for you. They welcome you in and make the process easier and answer any questions and at the end of the day they want what's best for your child.

Our son started with Adapt for Life in September 2024. He is ASD L2 Non-Verbal. Since starting ABA, we have noticed a complete 180. He communicated regularly now, with no other intervention for speech and communication than what he receives at ABA. He will try new foods, clean up his messes, he tantrums less, his outburst are few and far between. With the support and help from the Staff at Adapt for Life, our son has gone from being a quiet child who needed help with almost everything to a child who talks every single day, makes requests, can do most things on his own, and is almost fully potty trained. We are forever grateful for the Staff at Adapt for Life and how much they care for our boy.
