CHASE COOMER

BCBA

R. Chase Coomer, MA, BCBA, LBA

  • Tenure with AFL and as a BCBA/RBT overall: 2021 as an RBT/ student finishing my hours and officially passed my boards in August, making the transition over to BCBA. Before that, I have been in the field off and on since late 2014 in both community and clinic settings.

  • Educational/Industry/Career Highlights/Personal Achievements to share: Graduated undergrad from Bellarmine University (2018) where I studied Psychology, Criminal Justice, and Anthropology. I assisted in conducting research in risk taking behaviors. For graduate studies I received my master’s degree from Ball State University (2021) in Applied Behavior Analysis.

  • One thing that most people don’t know about me: I have a penchant for strategy games and puzzles, I even taught myself how to solve a Rubik’s cube with backwards chaining.

  • What brought you to AFL?: The overall atmosphere of Adapt for Life is what had driven me to apply. After working in several clinics previously, I found the missing pieces I was looking for: open communication, investment in employees, and a management team that will go the extra mile to support staff at any level.
